Raw Nook Nature Reserve is sandwiched between Caldene Fields to the west and Toad Holes Beck to the east.  All three sites are located in the south of the city of Bradford.  The main enterance to Raw Nook NR is just off the A638 going towards Oakenshaw between the George and Black House Pubs.  The reserve is a regenerated site and consists of fairly rare lowland heath habitat,  Caldene Fields is mainly pasture and Toad Holes Beck consists of two ponds and scrubland.
